The bad results and bad performances continued for Chelsea in the English Premier League today when they visited the Molineux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Blues failed to deliver an appealing performance in the encounter as Wolverhampton Wanderers condemned them to a slim 1-0 defeat thanks to a brilliant strike from Matheus Nunes. It was yet another three points loss for Chelsea which got claimed deservedly by a vibrant Wolves team in today’s match.
Well, the Chelsea team as a whole needs to be talked about after having yet another uninspiring performance despite the arrival of a new manager Frank Lampard. The Blues had only one shot on target in the whole 90 minutes of football action which speaks badly of the team’s performance against Wolves. The team’s attacking play didn’t carry much threat as they struggled to break down Wolves’ defense line which haven’t been really strong this season.
Well, I believe the team’s awful performance in this game explains why they will be humiliated by Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League next week. The Blues have a match to play against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. The Los Blancos were unstoppable in their last game when they thrashed Barcelona 4-0 at the Camp Nou Stadium. I believe this present out-of-form Chelsea team won’t be a match for this red-hot form Real Madrid side. The Spanish Giants have what it takes to thrash this Chelsea team when they face in the UCL next week.
