Udinese vs Juventus
Italy Serie A,
Date: Sunday, 22 August 2021
Kick-off 17:30 UK/ 18:30 CET
Venue: Dacia Arena.
Juventus will start the 2021/22 Serie A season with the away fixture against Udinese on Sunday afternoon.
Juventus enter the new campaign aiming to regain the domestic dominance after a disappointing 4th-place finish in the previous term of Serie A.
A subpar season meant farewell to Andrea Pirlo who gave his managerial position to a familiar face, Massimiliano Allegri.
The former Juventus manager is thus ready for another challenge with I Bianconeri. He can be satisfied with the team’s display in the last pre-season check against Atalanta.
Juve clinched a 3-1 victory on the home patch eight days ago. Federico Bernardeschi, Paulo Dybala, and Federico Chiesa were particularly inspired on the occasion, while Alvaro Morata added his name to the scoreline after coming of as a second-half substitute.
Juventus’ forwards should have plenty of room to deliver here against Udinese whose back line shipped three goals to Sturm Graz and four goals to Lens in unpleasant pre-season defeats.
Nonetheless, Luca Gotti’s troops did manage to advance from their Coppa Italia tie against Ascoli thanks to the last weekend’s 3-1 victory at Dacia Arena.
Gotti has immense talent in the final third and it will be very interesting to see whom he chooses to make the starting lineup on Sunday against Juventus.

- Juventus have been the dominant force in this matchup historically.
- I Bianconeri won 37, drew 7, and lost just 9 of the last 53 meetings with Udinese.
- Juventus will go into this on the back of seven wins and one draw in the last eight clashes against Udinese.
- The Over 2.5 goals FT & Both Teams To Score option landed in six of the last seven head to head affairs between the two sides.
Udinese vs Juventus Prediction
Juventus are big favorites here, but we would not be shocked to see the hosts on the scoresheet either. This is why the Away Win & Both Teams To Score pick has a tremendous value at the odds of 3.25.
Punters who’d prefer safer options can simply back the visitors to net two or more goals on Sunday. It should be a banker bet at the odds of 1.57
