Inter Milan will be looking to get back on the winning ways as they take on Sassuolo in the last game of Saturday’s Serie A schedule.
Inter Milan will travel to Reggio nell’Emilia off the back of two straight draws in two completely opposite games.
The reigning champions produced a fantastic four-goal thriller against Atalanta last weekend.
The match could have gone either way as Federico Dimarco missed a late penalty for I Nerazzurri, while Roberto Piccoli had a goal disallowed for Atalanta just two minutes from time.
Since Inter bagged a whopping 20-goal tally in the opening six rounds of the Serie A and since they have just played such a thrilling affair against Atalanta, we expected them to shine up front against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.
However, Simone Inzaghi’s men were held to a goalless draw by the Ukrainian runners-up in a match that has offered no more than three shots on target combined from both outfits.
Inter have scored zero goals in two Champions League games and they will be highly motivated to raise the spirits and see off Sassuolo here in the last match before the international break.
Sassuolo have not been enjoying a fabulous run of form lately. They only ended a three-loss thread with a narrow 1-0 home win over recently-promoted and the rock-bottomed Salernitana.
