They should face a tough test on Friday evening when fifth-placed Rennes come to visit Parc des Princes in the first fixture of Matchday No 24, just four days before the big Champions League clash against Real Madrid.
Rennes did not have any problems against Brest at the weekend, as they picked up an easy 2-0 victory allowing their rivals no more than a single shot on target on the occasion.
However, head coach Bruno Genesio (former Lyon manager) can be worried about his team’s performances on travels.
Rennes lost three league games on the trot away from home, a streak that includes a 2-1 defeat at Clermont on January 23rd.
