Manchester City should have a fully-fit squad for the first time this season as they take on Burnley in the Premier League this afternoon.
City welcomed back Fernandinho and Benjamin Mendy this week, before Nathan Ake was the final returnee to training to complete Pep Guardiola’s squad looking ahead to the clash with the Clarets. Guardiola is likely to monitor the fitness of Ake and also striker Sergio Aguero, to avoid rushing them back.
Guardiola was asked before the match whether he was concerned with City’s poor goalscoring form that has seen them go the last two league games without winning. However, the boss simply told his side to keep on creating chances, predicting that the goals will come if his side remain positive.
With two upcoming Champions League games to play having already secured qualification to the next round, Guardiola can fully focus on the Premier League in the next three weeks
