The Blaugrana currently sit four points adrift of league leaders and fierce rivals Real Madrid with just two games remaining and know they simply must win here if they’re to have any chance of retaining their title. That said, if Los Blancos win their fixture against Villarreal — which is being played at the same time — Barca‘s hopes of La Liga glory will be over for this season.
In Osasuna, Quique Setien‘s men will be facing a team in form. Jagoba Arrasate has made Los Rojillos hard to break down of late and with just one defeat in their last six games, confidence is high.
Osasuna won’t finish in the European spots this season but with two games to go, there is every chance they push their way into the top eight and they’ll be keen to overhaul La Liga heavyweights Valencia and Athletic Bilbao to do so.
There’s all to play for at the Nou Camp, so read on for our preview of Barcelona vs Osasuna.

Barcelona & Osasuna’s previous line-ups:
- Barcelona (vs Valladolid): Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Busquets; Roberto, Puig, Vidal; Messi, Griezmann*.
- Osasuna (vs Celta Vigo): Herrera; Roncaglia, Aridane Hernandez, David Garcia, Estupinan; Torres, Oier, Brasanac, Perez, Gallego, Adrian.
Antoine Griezmann will be out until the end of July with a muscle problem, so Luis Suarez should partner Lionel Messi up front. Ousmane Dembele remains sidelined while Samuel Umtiti is a fitness doubt.
Chimy Avila and Marc Cardona remain sidelined for Osasuna, while Robert Ibanez, Unai Garcia and Ruben Garcia are doubtful.
Player to watch: Luis Suarez (Barcelona)
With Griezmann sidelined with injury, the burden will once again fall upon Suarez to support Messi at the sharp end of Barcelona‘s attack.
At 33, Suarez isn’t the all-action striker he used to be, but he is still an effective goalscorer, while his physical strength makes him a great foil for Messi, occupying centre-backs to create space for the Argentine ace.
Suarez has 15 goals in La Liga this season — only Messi (22), Karim Benzema (19) and Gerard Moreno (16) have more. Barca need the Uruguayan to contribute a few more in their final two league matches just in case Real Madrid slip up and open the door.
Scoreline prediction: Barcelona 2-0 Osasuna
