Speaker of the House of Rep Calls for Dialogue, Seeks Solution to Farmers-Herders conflicts

The Speaker of the house of Representative Femi Gbajabiamila Nigeria, has raised concern over the issue of farmers and herders conflicts across the country that has lately been perceived as being on the increase. Considering what played out in the South West where the Fulani herdsmen were given quit notice by some of their host community to leave their Land and also in the South East where the Members of the Easter Security Network Invaded their Camp killing the cows as well.

Solution to Farmers-Herders conflicts across Nigeria should indeed be of a great concern to every citizen of Nigeria not minding ethnicity and region in order to seek a permanent solution to these conflicts.

Sequel to this, the Speaker of the Nigeria house of Representative in an interview with journalists at presidential villa after a private meeting with President Muhammad Buhari, says there is a great need for dialogue to find a lasting solution to the Farmers/Herders conflicts across the country.

He went further, saying that no ethnicity or region should lord it over the others on the issue but rather a round table talk to settle this issue is and should be the good step in the right direction.
