Chelsea attackers duo Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz were put through their paces at Krasnodar stadium on Tuesday evening as Frank Lampard’s men made final preparations ahead of clash with Russian side on Wednesday night.
The Blues players were returned to full group training yesterday evening after goalless draw against Manchester United last weekend, with the focus now turning towards Wednesday’s Uefa Champions League clash with Russian side Krasnodar.
Frank Lampard’s side will be desperate to get back to winning ways after failed to win their last three matches following 4-0 home victory over Crystal Palace just before the international break.
However, Frank Lampard’s side will be looking to get their first win in Europe’s elite club competition after played a goalless draw in their opener games against Sevilla last week.
And ahead of their encounter with Russian side Krasnodar, Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz were put through their paces at Krasnodar stadium as both attackers leading final preparations in Russian last night.
Timo Werner, who scored three goals in all competitions for Chelsea so far this term, was also involved and looked sharp while Tammy Abraham was appeared at Russian stadium and take a played a major role during final preparations.
Hakim Ziyech, who came as substitute in his first threes appearances for Chelsea also take part in training and according to Frank Lampard the 27-year-old winger is expected to make starting XI when Chelsea clash with Krasnodar tonight.
Ziyech is hope to help Frank Lampard’s side back to winning ways after failed to get victories in their last three games in all competitions.
Their first draw was 3-3 against Saints before a goalless draw against Sevilla in the Uefa Champions League and latest was against Manchester United on Saturday evening
