Nemanja Matics contract with Manchester club will be expiring at the end of this current season, and they have been reporting linking the lanky midfielder to different club side in Europe. At a point in this current season, Matics was unhappy with lack of play time and incident that was evident in one of his outrage training ground outbursts sometimes in September.
However, the Serbian international is currently enjoying regular play time with the reds, and he is even seen as on of the crucial piss in their recent run of form. This recent form has spurred a contract extension talk with club, and Ole Gunnar confirmed that the 31-years-old big midfielder have agreed to stay with club for another one year.
