Kai Havertz Deal is 97 Percent Done, only one thing left to sort out.

Chelsea in ‘final stages’ of concluding Kai Havertz transfer from Bayer Leverkusen>>>>Here

Chelsea are reportedly in the final stages of negotiations over a deal for Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz.

The Blues have been heavily-linked with a move for the attacking midfielder this summer, though Premier League rivals Manchester United are also believed to be interested.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been busy having earlier confirmed the signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

And now it seems the Stamford Bridge outfit are close to sealing a move for German star Havertz.

Respected journalist Kevin Palmer tweeted: “Chelsea are in the ‘final stages’ of negotiations over a deal for Kai Havertz. Discussions are focusing on the structure of performance related payments.

“It seems like this is a deal edging towards to a conclusion.”

A fee has reportedly been a sticking point between Leverkusen and Chelsea with the Blues hoping to seal a deal for around £70m.

The Bundesliga side are believed to want closer to £90m for the 21-year-old ace.

And, having already improved his attacking ranks, Owen Hargreaves believes Lampard should focus on defensive signings.

“He’s a really good player,” Hargreaves said on BT Sport. “He’s a great young player, but they have a lot of those great young players.

“I think they need some leaders in there. Havertz for £90million – you want ready-made, walks in and makes you a better team, and I think the worry is they spend right now £200m on Werner, Ziyech and Havertz and they can still finish fourth or fifth.

“They want to win a title and I think Havertz is a special player, but it feels like they need to sort out the ‘keeper and the centre-backs first.

“Mason Mount could play in there. Where does Mason then play? He’s had a good season.”

Lampard is also believed to be interested in signing a new goalkeeper, so it could be a busy summer in west London.
