How Chelsea Could lineup Against Aston Villa

Apparently, the Premier League season would finally restart next week, and Chelsea would take on Aston Villa away from home on Sunday, June 21.

As at now, no Chelsea’s player is injured as the injured ones are back and they are all fit and healthy. Aisde that, nobody knows how the Blues honcho is planning to play against Aston Villa on Sunday,

Meanwhile, Chelsea recently test runned their squad ahead of season restarts as they played an indoor friendly game against Championship side Reading in which they defeat Reading 1-0.

However, Chelsea only have 9 remaining fixtures and the Blues must qualify for next season Champion league, but they are leading Manchester united with just few points, so the Blues must do everything in their closet to win almost all their remaining fixtures.

This is how Chelsea could lineup against Aston Villa

Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger, Alonso, Kante, Kovacic, Mount, William, Abraham, Pulisic.

As regards the indoor friendly game against Reading, Pedro was the scorer and he played really good, so I expect Frank Lampard to start him ahead of Willian against Aston Villa. However, Frank Lampard should start setting up his midfield without Jorginho having been linked with a move to Juventus.

The defence line is well guided having seen Rudiger and Christensen partner each other as the center back while Alonso and Azipilicueta back on their spot, having gotten these players at the back I guess the Blues backline is secured against Aston Villa.

In the absence of Jorginho, Mason Mount would anchor the No.10 role while Kovavic and Kante would act defensively, but at the same time Kovavic would also help Mount in oppressing and pushing towards the opposition’s box. While Kante would continue to do his things at the midfield the way he used to like chasing ball hither thither.

Obviously, Pulisic deserves a starting against Aston Villa to regain his confidence, the Blues frontline against Aston Villa is good enough, having got Abraham upfront while Pulisic and Pedro would be his subordinates. In the absence of Willian, Pedro and Pulisic are great dribblers, it would be easy for Chelsea to breakthrough against Aston Villa’s defense line on Sunday,
