Chelsea Manager Frank Lampard has provided an Updates on the future penalty taker at the club, following the 4-0 triumph against Krasnodar on Wednesday night.
Lampard made this known during the post-match conference of the victory in Russia.
Hudson-Odio, Timo Werner (penalty), Hakim Ziyech, and Christian Pulisic were the goal scorers for the day as the blues collected their first three points in the Champions League this season.
Jorginho missed an early penalty in the match, meanwhile after the Italian had been subbed off in the second half, the blues got another penalty through an handball from Krasnodar’s defender which Werner converted.
However here is what Lampard said at full-time concerning the club’s future penalty taker;
“Jorginho has had an incredibly successful rate of scoring penalties at #Chelsea & in his career. You can miss one or two when you take many. Werner’s a good taker, there are others, we know that. We’ll discuss it.”
