Christian Pulisic thinks Enzo Fernandez has made a fantastic start to life as a Chelsea player.
Blues winger Pulisic, 24, will now be sitting in a Blues dressing room that looks very different from the one he joined in 2019.
There has been a huge overhaul of the squad in recent times, especially with so many new faces arriving under the new owners.
Fernandez, who joined from Benfica in January for £106.8million, is the club’s real statement signing.
The 22-year-old midfielder has quickly settled into life at Stamford Bridge, becoming a key player in Graham Potter’s starting line-up already.
“The way he passes the ball is clear. The way he can dominate a midfield is impressive. I think he’s a really strong young player.”

It seems Fernandez is quickly winning over his teammates, with Kai Havertz recently raving about the January recruit.
Despite being just 22, he seems a very mature individual who possesses a real presence on the pitch
The club did have to break the bank to get the Argentine mid-season, but the hope is he can be the bedrock of Chelsea’s midfield for the next decade.
We’re very excited by the glimpses we’ve seen in his opening couple of months
