England vs Denmark
England are set to bring their international break to a close on Wednesday evening.
The final of the Three Lions’ three ties from the current break sees them play host to Denmark in a Nations League clash.
This will be the second of two meetings between the sides in recent months after the pair played out a rather drab 0-0 draw in Copenhagen during the last break.
After said draw, England’s chances of topping their NL group appeared to take a big hit.
However, after Gareth Southgate’s men saw off Belgium on Sunday, they are now at the summit of Group B.

England lose two full-backs
However, with a second clash vs Belgium still to come, England really need maximum points from their games with Denmark and Iceland to boost their chances of finishing top of the group.
Unfortunately for England, though, they have lost two of their top full-backs ahead of the game.
England would confirm on Tuesday morning that both Ben Chilwell and Kieran Trippier had left the national team camp and would be unavailable vs Denmark:

No explanation for the pair’s absence was provided by England.
But the Evening Standard have since moved to shed some light on the situation.
First up, the ES reported that Trippier has left due to a personal matter.
As for Chilwell, in a big blow to Chelsea, it is understood that the left-back has had to withdraw due to a flare-up of a pre-existing foot injury.
Chelsea are set to face Southampton this coming Saturday and Frank Lampard will no doubt be majorly concerned about Chilwell’s potential involvement.
