Chelsea Transfer News: Lampard Gives Fresh update on injured players as Board Plan To Sign Erling Haaland

The West London Giants Chelsea are currently suffering some minor injuries just at the wrong time of the year as they head into Christmas with three important players sidelined due to injury problems.

Blues head coach Frank Lampard has confirmed that Chelsea will be without Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell and Reece James for the trip to North London on Boxing Day.

Ziyech was supposed to return against Arsenal as he has been absent since early December, but the gaffer said in press conference that playing him against Arsenal will be risking it. The Moroccan winger had suffered a knee injury earlier and now a thigh injury. You have to let him recover fully before putting him on the pitch to display.

Chelsea Board plans on signing Haaland and Declan Rice

Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia could look to raise funds for the transfers of Rice and Erling Haaland.

Haaland is currently on the sidelines with a muscle complaint. The Dortmund attacker has scored up to 33 goals in 32 games in all competitions for Dortmund despite a shaky start. The Norwegian international has established himself as Europe’s most wanted young striker.

It was reported by Sky sports italia, that Chelsea chief/Board are planning on selling up to seven players in January. The likes of Christensen, Rudiger, Jorginho, Barkley, Drinkwater, Vitor Moses and Alonso are all set to leave Stamford Bridge
