Chelsea completed the signing of Ajax star man Hakim Ziyech in February, for a fee around £37m.
Chelsea fans have been reacting excitedly with the signing and can’t wait to see the Moroccan international don the Blue jersey.
It isn’t only the fans who are looking forward to seeing Ziyech at Stamford Bridge, as his new teammates can’t wait to have him in the team.
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has sent a message to Ziyech, telling him that he’s looking forward to having him in the Chelsea team next season.
Abraham said: “Hi Hakim, it’s Tammy here.
“I just want to wish you all the best for the rest of the season.
“Can’t wait for you to come and join us. You know I’m ready, man. Can’t wait to see you, bro. Take care.”
Meanwhile, Abraham has been warned he won’t be considered a good striker if he doesn’t click with Hakim Ziyech. This is according to Iceland striker Alfred Finnbogason, who spent two years playing alongside Ziyech for Dutch side Heerenveen.
When asked about Ziyech, Finnbogason told De Telegraaf: “Oh my god.
“And I already knew he was good, didn’t I. But what he has shown in recent years is not normal.
“If you don’t click with Ziyech, you are not a good striker.
All you have to do is move. He gives the balls exactly the way you want them to be.
“Without a doubt, the Premier League will be a big test for him.
“Players are better and more aggressive, but see what he has already shown at Ajax with his qualities in the Champions League.
“He is something special and will be a big signing for Chelsea.”
