Chelsea owner Confirms Kai Havertz Deal Done on Twitter As Bayer Leverkusen Coach Revealed Kai Havertz Has Sign Five Years Deal with Chelsea

After the FA cup final loss to Arsenal on the 1st of August 2020, reports are circulating that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has personally put a call across to the Chelsea recruitment team, to personally demand for the signing of German superstar Kai Havertz.

Chelseamanager Frank Lampard had identified Kai Havertz as the complete solution to his midfield problems, but the Chelsea recruitment team are having reservations about spending a hefty fee for the German, due to the financial restrictions brought by the coronavirus pandemic.

The reports now claim that Roman Abramovich was furious about Chelsea’s loss to Arsenal and has personally made the demand for Kai Havertz having consulted with Frank Lampard.

If Havertz eventually makes the move to Stamford bridge, I think it will be a great addition to the Blues squad having signed Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and also keeping tabs on Antoine Griezmann.

Bayer Leverkusen manager Peter Bosz has hinted that Kai Havertz could seal a move to Chelsea as early as today.

The Blues are locked in talks with Leverkusen over a potential deal to sign Havertz, who is widely considered one of the most promising youngsters in European football.

It is believed Frank Lampard and co are still falling around £20million short of Leverkusen’s £91million valuation, but the German club are likely to come to a compromise.

Bosz has admitted he already knows where Havertz wants to play football next season, hinting that his star midfielder could join Chelsea imminently.
