Chelsea are reportedly considering to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea. Head coach Frank Lampard wants to find a replacement for their current stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has made several errors this season.
On the other hand, United are keen on bringing back Dean Henderson, who has been on loan at Sheffield United for two seasons. In that case de Gea will be allowed to leave, with Chelsea considering him as one of options to replace Arrizabalaga, according to Belgian outlet
The Blues also have André Onana, Jan Oblak and Gianluigi Donnarumma in their goalkeeper target list.
De Gea is contracted with United until 2023 and might be allowed to leave the Old Trafford after few dismal seasons
His immediate future at Old Trafford has also been questioned as experienced Spaniard David de Gea is United’s undisputed No.1, meaning Henderson could join Sheffield United on loan again for the upcoming campaign.
But the Blades have been on the lookout for a new keeper to replace Henderson, and Aaron Ramsdale looks set to sign from Bournemouth following their relegation from the Premier League.
