The Blues, who face Arsenal in Saturday’s FA Cup final at Wembley, have already completed the signings of Ajax star Hakim Ziyech and Germany international Timo Werner ahead of the start of next season, but they are not done yet in terms of their summer recruitment drive.
Kai Havertz (21), author of 12 goals and 6 assists with Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga , had already reached an agreement with Chelsea for the Mercato , despite the interests of Real Madrid and Bayern Munichtowards him, but the latter was waiting to know if the Blues would win their qualification for the next Champions League .
The Guardian tells us that the transfer of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea should be formalized at the end of the week and that the amount of the operation would be estimated at € 80m.
Very good news for the London club coached by Frank Lampard after the transfers already recorded by Timo Werner (RB Leipzig) and Hakim Ziyech (Ajax Amsterdam) for this summer Mercato !
True: my son is fan of Bayern AND Chelsea (in Champions League for Bayern, sorry). I am a neutral reporter ?

Chelsea are continuing to be linked with a plethora of names as the transfer window begins to get into full flight, with Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz, who is poised to be the next arrival in West London, Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly and Brentford winger Said Benrahma all continuing to be heavily linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.
After qualifying for next season’s Uefa Champions League with a 2-0 victory over Wolves on Sunday, which saw Chelsea secure a top-four finish in the Premier League this season, Marina Granovskaia, the club’s transfer guru, should find it far easier to negotiate deals with some of the Blues’ top targets.
